Crispelli’s Bakery and Pizzeria — with restaurants in West Bloomfield Township and along Woodward Avenue in Berkley — has opened a new French bakery called Bread by Crispelli’s in Royal Oak. Additionally, a new Crispelli’s will open this spring in Troy.

The M1 Concourse — an 80-acre condo development and race track for car enthusiasts — will feature a display that includes a 53-foot race trailer, four show cars, and $1.6 million supercar this weekend at the 64th AutoRama Detroit at Cobo Center.

IKEA, an international home furnishings retailer, today announced it expanded the solar array on top of its store in Canton Township to 40,000 square feet. The array produces nearly 294,000 kilowatt-hours more electricity annually for the store — the equivalent of powering 26 homes.

General Motors Co. today announced plans to launch a large-scale renovation of its headquarters at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit, which will include a giant LED screen overlooking Jefferson Avenue. Construction will begin this summer and is expected to be completed by late 2018.
