Ann Arbor-based Expert Auto Parts LLC, an online provider of original automotive parts for consumers, has added more than seven million interior, body, and collision parts to its inventory, expanding its offerings to 12 million parts.
Metro Detroit is a major market for do-it-yourself vehicle customization and repairs, with events like the Woodward Dream Cruise highlighting customized and classic vehicles.
“Interior auto parts are hard to find,” says Chris Hall, partner of Expert Auto Parts. “Many stores carry starters, alternators, and brakes, but trim pieces, cup holders, compartment doors, and hundreds of other part categories aren’t sold in local auto parts stores.”
Expert Auto Parts carries only the original auto parts from manufacturers for nearly 40 brands such as General Motors, Ford, Fiat Chrysler, Toyota, and others, which includes up to 350,000 models.
“People are holding onto their cars longer, the cost of do-it-for-me repairs is higher, and some aftermarket suppliers are flooding the market with low-quality parts,” says Steve Baldante, partner of Expert Auto Parts. “We think consumers need a better alternative.”
Baldante says customers can go to ExpertAutoParts.com and use their VIN number, part number, or choose make, year, and model to find parts. He says there are also more than 150,000 illustrated part images on the site.
