USS Detroit Commissioning and Chairman’s Reception

The USS Detroit, a freedom-class littoral Navy combat ship, arrived in Detroit on Oct. 14. The arrival of the ship kicked off a variety of weeklong activities, including a commissioning ceremony at the GM Riverwalk and a Chairman’s Reception at the GM RenCen Wintergarden.
