T.J. Hosa has joined Livonia-based The Recovery Project, a provider of high-intensity physical and occupational therapy, as a physical therapist at the company’s Livonia clinic.
Hosa will perform high-intensity therapeutic programs for clients, focusing on people with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, and other moderate to severe neurological disorders.
Previously, Hosa practiced at Lynden Family Physical Therapy, an outpatient orthopedic clinic. He evaluated and treated many patients with various diagnoses while supervising and directing physical therapy assistants.
Hosa earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in sociology from Ohio State University and his doctorate of physical therapy from Ohio University. During graduate school he attended a three-week service trip to Botswana, Africa, where he worked with Botswana physiotherapists in schools, hospitals, and outpatient facilities.
