Joseph S. Crowley has been admitted as a new equity partner at Exchange Capital Management, a registered investment advisor based in Ann Arbor. This ownership change was effective May 1.
With nearly 35 years of service, the individuals at Exchange Capital Management have worked to provide goals-based financial planning and investment management for individuals and families in Michigan and beyond. This self-described ensemble firm works to bolster client relationships through teamwork and professional expertise.
“Joe is an accomplished advisor who has demonstrated significant leadership skills,” says Michael Reid, president, Exchange Capital Management. “It’s particularly gratifying when another member of our team is able to step into an ownership role with the firm.”
Crowley joined Exchange Capital in 2016 as a financial planning specialist. Now, as a senior lead investment advisor, Crowley serves as the primary financial planner and behavioral coach for more than 100 client relationships and helps lead the firm’s financial planning team.

Crowley holds the certified financial planner certification and a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Central Michigan University. He is also an active member in the Ann Arbor community where he lives with his girlfriend Sarah and his dog Penny.
Exchange Capital Management was established in 1989 and is a fee-only registered investment adviser in Ann Arbor, providing fiduciary financial planning and portfolio management services for private clients, corporate entities, financial institutions, and foundations.
