Stefanini Group, a global tech consultancy in Southfield, announced that Guilherme Stefanini has been appointed CEO of North America and APAC.

Stefanini will be responsible for accelerating the company’s growth in these regions, with emphasis on expansion within the United States where it has operated for more than 25 years, serving more than 200 clients and 50 of the Fortune 500 companies.

In this new role, Stefanini will build on the firm’s track record of solving complex business challenges with technology, expanding that work across each market, including sectors like financial services, retail, manufacturing, consumer goods and services, and more, where tailored technology can help modernize operations and address highly specific and complex client needs.

“Over the past two decades, we’ve built a solid foundation in North America and specifically the U.S.,” Stefanini says. “There is immense room to expand our footprint and help leading companies adapt to pressing challenges within their organizations.

“In the past year, Stefanini Group customers have seen an uplift of 13 percent in sales and 60 percent cost reduction savings in infrastructure costs. We can do this because we’re embedded with our clients for the long run to create and implement custom technology solutions that fortify them for the future.”

Artificial intelligence will be a key focus for Stefanini’s long-term vision in North America, the company says. In 2024, Stefanini Group opened the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence in Southfield. The facility houses professionals dedicated to developing technology-driven solutions, part of a global team of experts focused on AI within the company. The initiative was created to align solution development closely with the demands of U.S enterprises and enhance collaboration around artificial intelligence applications.

“Many of the world’s most influential companies call the U.S. home, making it a market defined by both extraordinary scale and complex business challenges that we are equipped to solve,” says Stefanini. “Staying close to our clients by building out our North American presence allows us to better understand their priorities and bring the right capabilities from across our global organization to bear on their most important challenges.”

As CEO of Stefanini Marketing since 2020, Stefanini grew the marketing business sixfold, led the company’s global rebranding across more than 100 countries, and unified the group’s presence for over 35,000 employees and 2,000 global clients. Under his leadership, Stefanini Group consolidated its value proposition by structuring its portfolio into seven global business units: Technology, Cyber, Data & Analytics, Financial Tech, Operations, Marketing, and Manufacturing.

This brand architecture integrated core capabilities into an ecosystem built through more than 40 strategic acquisitions, driving commercial synergy and elevating the company’s standing among global tech leaders.

Having been with Stefanini Group for 10 years and combining the roles of CEO at Stefanini Marketing with Global CMO since 2024, his initiative led INSEAD to recognize Stefanini Group as an ambidextrous organization capable of balancing core business efficiency with the exploration of new opportunities to stay competitive.

Stefanini also is the organizer of INSEAD’s Leadership in Digital Transformation Program. The company’s M&A case study, “Creating an Ecosystem Strategy in the Era of AI,” is said to be an academic benchmark, now studied in business schools worldwide.
