Jeanette McNamara has been promoted to vice president of Art Van Furniture’s luxury divisions, Scott Shuptrine Interiors and the newly acquired Hillside Contemporary Furniture.
McNamara is responsible for overseeing and leading the day-to-day activities of the company’s eight Scott Shuptrine locations and the Bloomfield Township-based Hillside store. Additionally, she will be driving the continued growth of each luxury division brand through in-store galleries, stand-alone locations, and a franchising portfolio plan.
With more than 15 years of leadership and sales experience in the furniture industry, McNamara previously served as the director of Scott Shuptrine. Prior to her tenure with Art Van, McNamara held a variety of management positions with Pottery Barn, including corporate district manager of Pottery Barn Kids and Teen in San Francisco, district manager of Pottery Barn in Michigan and Northern Ohio, and store manager of several locations throughout Southeast Michigan.
McNamara, of Oakland Township, earned her bachelor’s in psychology at the University of Michigan.
