Trion Solutions based in Troy has promoted Reuben Rienstra to CFO. The announcement was by Bonner Upshaw III, CEO and co-founder of Trion, and David L. Stone, president and co-founder.
Previously, Rienstra was Trion’s vice president-corporate controller. He joined Trion in November 2016 and served as director of accounting and corporate controller.
“Reuben Rienstra is a consummate financial professional who has excelled in his years with Trion Solutions,” Upshaw says. “It is with great pleasure that he has been promoted to the important CFO position.”
Before joining Trion, he was director of financial reporting and financial systems at Active Aero Group in Belleville, where he was employed for 11 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration at Walsh College.
Trion Solutions manages payroll, benefits administration, workers’ compensation, regulatory compliance, and other human resources-related areas. Trion’s corporate headquarters is in Troy with additional offices in Aventura, Fla., Scottsdale, Ariz., and Traverse City.
