Troy-based Rehmann has added Caitlyn Gimler as a key leader within its wealth management practice in west Michigan.
Gimler will partner with Rehmann Principal Mandy Chardoul to provide comprehensive wealth, tax, and legacy planning services to high-net-worth families and business owners throughout the region.
Like Chardoul, Gimler joins Rehmann from Plante Moran Wealth Management, where she advised clients representing more than $600 million in assets under management. Her track record helping clients integrate financial, tax, and estate planning aligns closely with Rehmann’s comprehensive planning approach.
“I have known Caitlyn since she was the star of the financial literacy program at Gladstone High School, and through her internship at Goodbody in Dublin, Ireland,” says Mark Tibergien, industry leader and an early mentor to Gimler. “She will be a terrific addition to the Rehmann team with her sound judgment, intellectual curiosity and a genuine commitment to helping families make informed decisions.”
In addition to advising high-net-worth families and business owners throughout west Michigan, Gimler has become a resource on Social Security, investment strategy, and retirement income planning. She also has written on industry topics and mentored emerging financial professionals.
“Caitlyn’s addition reflects our growth in West Michigan and our continued focus on high-net-worth client services to meet the increasingly complex needs of the individuals and families we serve,” says Stacie Kwaiser, CEO of Rehmann. “Her experience deepens the bench of specialists our clients rely on, strengthening our ability to deliver personalized, tax-aware wealth management strategies”
A Grand Valley State University graduate, Gimler earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in International Business. She is a Certified Financial Planner and remains actively involved in the Grand Rapids community, serving on the board the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids and as a member of the Rotary Club of Grand Rapids.
“The most important financial decisions rarely fit neatly into one category,” says Gimler. “Clients need advice that connects investment, tax, retirement and estate planning to the life and legacy they are building. I am excited to partner with Mandy Chardoul and the broader Rehmann Wealth team to bring those perspectives together for clients while helping families build financial literacy and prepare the next generation to steward their wealth with confidence.”
