Kristi Krafft-Bellsky of Yeo & Yeo has received the Impact Award from the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). The Impact Award recognizes CPAs who are shaping the future of the profession through innovation, leadership, and meaningful contributions to the accounting community.
Krafft-Bellsky is a principal and director of quality control at Yeo & Yeo. As leader of the firm’s Technology and Innovation Team, she has championed the implementation of transformative technologies that have increased efficiency, strengthened collaboration, and supported continuous improvement across the organization.
Her leadership has guided major initiatives, including the firm’s transition to CCH Engagement, the implementation of Ignition proposal and engagement letter software, the adoption of Trullion for artificial-intelligence-powered accounting, and the internal adoption of Microsoft Copilot. She also co-developed the firm’s artificial intelligence roadmap, helping employees embrace emerging technologies while maintaining a focus on responsible use, quality, and professional standards.
In addition to driving innovation within Yeo & Yeo, Krafft-Bellsky actively shares her expertise with the broader profession. She serves on the Michigan Department of Education School Auditing Manual Referent Group, is a frequent presenter for organizations such as the Michigan School Business Officials and collaborates with accounting professionals across the country through the BDO Alliance USA Technology Innovation Team. Her efforts help fellow CPAs, auditors, and finance professionals adapt to evolving standards, technologies, and client expectations.

Since joining Yeo & Yeo in 2003, Krafft-Bellsky reportedly has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, innovation, and service. In addition to her leadership within the firm, she is actively involved in several community organizations, including the Early Childhood Investment Corporation and the Frank N. Andersen Foundation. She is a graduate of Leadership Saginaw County and Saginaw County 1000 Leaders.
Krafft-Bellsky will be recognized alongside other honorees at the MICPA Celebrate Awards on Nov. 11 at the Colony Club in Detroit.
