Duc Abrahamson Named to U.S. Global Leadership Coalition’s Michigan Advisory Committee

Duc Abrahamson, executive director of the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce in Farmington Hills, will serve on the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition’s (USGLC) Michigan Advisory Committee.

The USGLC is a broad-based network of 500 businesses and NGOs, military, faith-based, and civic leaders united in support of U.S. global engagement. To coalition is active across the country and includes organizations and businesses including Boeing, Caterpillar, GE, Microsoft, and more.

The coalition works to educate the American public and policymakers on the importance of investing in diplomacy and development alongside defense in building a strategic, modern foreign policy.

In this role, Abrahamson will lend her name in support of the U.S. global leadership, support USGLC’s efforts to reach out locally to member of Congress to educate them about the importance of the international affairs budget, and help identify other key opinion leaders in the state.
