Detroit’s AsDya Security, a software company making cybersecurity accessible and affordable for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has appointed Tim Hankins as senior vice president of growth.
He will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales, customer success, and marketing. He is also tasked with driving growth around Judy, the company’s cybersecurity platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to deliver next-generation protection and support for companies who lack the time, expertise, and capital to successfully implement these solutions on their own.
His appointment follows AaDya’s recent moves, including the close of its $5 million Series A funding round led by Left Lane Capital last April. Aside from filling this key leadership position, the influx of capital will be used to accelerate the growth of AaDya’s channel program for managed service providers, resellers, and referral partners serving small and medium-sized business customers.
Hankins joins AaDya with nearly 20 years of experience driving growth and success established businesses as well as start-ups. Prior to joining AaDya, Hankins served as senior vice president of sales at DecisionLink.
