Bedrock Names Richard Mandell and Nic Barlage to Leadership Roles

Detroit-based Bedrock has named Richard Mandell as chief administrative officer in Detroit and Nic Barlage to a position to shape the strategic direction for Bedrock in Cleveland.

Detroit-based Bedrock has named Richard Mandell as chief administrative officer in Detroit and Nic Barlage to a position to shape the strategic direction for Bedrock in Cleveland.

Mandell will guide organizational strategy and support the company’s culture, operations, and business development. He was previously a strategic advisor at Rocket and has held several senior leadership roles across the organization for nearly three decades. Mandell is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader in the real estate and mortgage industries.

Barlage will work with Bedrock to lead and shape the strategic vision in Cleveland. He brings nearly 15 years of experience within Dan Gilbert’s Rock Family of Cos. where he also serves as CEO of Rock Entertainment Group inclusive of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charge, Monsters, Legion, Rock Entertainment Sports Network, Rocket Arena, and the recent WNBA expansion team. Barlage is expected to collaborate closely with Bedrock to advance plans for The Riverfront, Rock Block, and Tower City Center and projects such as the Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center and Cosm Cleveland.
