IPR Robotics in Shelby Township has unveiled its new StackTrax Dual 7th Axis, a fully customizable rail system designed to extend robot reach, enhance flexibility, and reduce complexity for manufacturers worldwide.

Designed around the needs of CNC, material removal, and other machine tending robotic applications, StackTrax is intended to extend a robot’s work envelope while saving space and deployment time compared to overhead or traditional gantry-style systems.

StackTrax combines two linear axes into one compact system, giving robots the working envelope of a gantry without the overhead supports, long lead times, or costly custom engineering. StackTrax is compatible to use without a robot, and with all major robot brands, and can be configured to handle a wide range of payloads, making it suitable for everything from compact cells to large-scale systems, according to IPR Robotics.
