Dealer World, a full-service automotive marketing company with offices in Shelby Township, and Dealer Funnel, a software company in Sanford, Fla., are using systems from Detroit-based automotive tech firm Urban Science to make marketing decisions.

The companies will use Urban Science’s data to find new insights to develop a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities in the automotive market. Dealer World and Dealer Funnel will integrate Urban Science data into their platforms, enabling dealerships to make more efficient and precise marketing decisions.

Urban Science also helps dealers through its SalesAlert system. It is designed to support dealers on the operations side by connecting directly to a dealership’s customer relationship management (CRM) programs and notifying dealers when a sale is lost.

This gives dealers time to focus resources on prospects still in the market. As an additional part of the collaboration, for dealers working with Dealer World and Dealer Funnel that are enrolled in SalesAlert, Urban Science will also, with the dealer’s consent, make this data available to Dealer World and Dealer Funnel.

The combination should create a privacy-compliant bridge between a dealership’s operations and marketing efforts and enable new insights into customer journeys.
