Women’s Harvest Lunch 2026

Forgotten Harvest in Oak Park hosted its annual Women’s Harvest Lunch on Oct. 22 at the Royal Oak Farmer’s Market. The event featured a coursed lunch highlighting some of the seasonal ingredients Forgotten Harvest distributes through its network. It also included an auction that featured gift baskets, one-of-a-kind experiences, family outings, excursions, sporting events, and 20 ceramic bowls donated by Pottery Creations that were hand-painted by children at Burton Elementary School in Huntington Woods. Event proceeds benefit the organization’s efforts to provide fresh, healthy produce to metro Detroiters in need through its farm, pantry partners, and grocery rescue system. // Photographs by Christine M.J.
