USA Boxing Michigan Celebration Banquet

As part of the USA Boxing National Qualifier taking place through March 25 at Huntington Place in downtown Detroit, the USA Boxing Alumni Association hosted the Michigan Celebration Banquet on Sunday, March 19, at the Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, A Wyndham Hotel. During the evening event, emceed by Ronnie Duncan, lead sports reporter for CBS Detroit, the alumni association recognized USA Boxing Hall of Fame Alumni the late Emanuel Steward, founder of Kronk Boxing who trained 41 world champions throughout his career, and world champion Claressa Shields. USA Boxing also presented Lifetime Achievement Awards to Frank Garza, Bob Every, Dave Packer, and Spence Carpenter. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
