Macomb Feeding the Need, a nonprofit based in Roseville, offers meals and clothing to those in need. Along with donations, Macomb Feeding the Need has an immediate demand for volunteers. The organization was founded in 2010 and offered lunch — the operation soon expanded to include a continental breakfast, a hot meal at noon, and a bagged lunch to go every Tuesday and Friday at the Roseville Masonic Hall. It has also partnered with Sunshine Thrift Store, where those who have low incomes can receive clothing every 30 days. During the winter, Feeding the Need offers backpacks of toiletries, outerwear, and more. The organization also has a community garden and a mobile pantry, makes sleeping mats out of plastic grocery bags for the homeless, and collects donated furniture and home goods for those who have escaped homelessness.
