German American Chambers of Commerce 2023 Unity Day and Oktoberfest

The German American Chambers of Commerce hosted its combined 2023 Unity Day and Oktoberfest at the Atwater Brewery (Atwater in the Park) in Grosse Pointe Park on Oct. 3. The guest speaker was Michael Ahrens, the consul general of Germany in Chicago, who took up the position in August. The event featured German-style food and German-style beers.
