Mans Lumber and Millwork in Trenton, specialists in lumber, millwork, window, decking, and kitchens and bathrooms, today announced the acquisition of Dillman & Upton, which operates a home improvement center, a showroom, and a lumberyard in Rochester. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1910, Dillman & Upton has supplied materials to numerous construction projects built or remodeled in Oakland County. The company, which specializes in lumber, millwork, window, decking, and kitchens and bathrooms, including remodeling, has seven full-time designers.

With more than 200 years of combined experience in the lumber and building materials business, the acquisition of Dillman & Upton creates the state’s largest family-owned provider of home improvement services and lumber and building materials.

The entire Dillman & Upton team will continue to serve customers from their retail store, design showroom, and lumberyard, and will expand their services with support of the Mans Lumber and Millwork team to enhance capabilities and improve efficiencies.
Dillman & Upton is located at 607 Woodward St. in Rochester. Mans Lumber and Millwork has locations in Ann Arbor (2275 South Industrial Hwy.), Canton Township (47255 Michigan Ave.), and in Trenton (3300 W. Jefferson). All locations also feature showrooms for homes, kitchens, and bathrooms.
