Stars + Honey, the Groose Pointe Park-based healthy snack brand, has expanded into Costco clubs across the Pacific Northwest region. This marks the brand’s first club channel debut on the heels of its launch into Target stores nationwide.
Stars + Honey collagen protein bars now are available at more than 40 stores across Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and on Costco.com in select locations, in a custom 12-pack featuring Cherry Chocolate Waffle Cone and Cacao Salt Caramel Peanut flavors for $19.99.
Consumers in participating markets also will be able to purchase Stars + Honey collagen protein bars through Costco’s same-day delivery platform, powered by Instacart, in addition to shopping in Costco clubs.
“Launching with Costco is an exciting milestone for Stars + Honey,” says Jasmine Mobley, chief brand and commercial officer of Stars + Honey. “Consumers want products that support their health and nutrition goals, but they don’t want to sacrifice flavor, enjoyment, or ingredient quality to get there. Costco members are known for seeking out products that deliver both quality and value, which aligns closely with the consumers we serve at Stars + Honey.”
Stars + Honey bars come in 18 dessert-like flavors crafted in-house by a team of chefs, with more on the horizon. Stars + Honey collagen protein bars feature 15g of plant-based protein, bovine collagen peptides, and are free of gluten, dairy, soy, seed oils, and sugar alcohols.
Earlier this month, Stars + Honey announced a $24 million growth equity investment led by VMG Partners to accelerate the brand’s next phase of expansion. The investment will support added manufacturing capabilities, continued product innovation, and broader distribution as the company scales nationally. After growing 300 percent last year, Stars + Honey states it is on track to reach approximately $50 million in annual revenue in 2026.
Target carries four of the 18 Stars + Honey flavors — Dark Chocolate Coconut, Cacao Salt Caramel Peanut, Cherry Chocolate Waffle Cone, and Espresso Vanilla Cinnamon — and is the first retailer to offer individual bars as well as a five-pack.
“Launching at Target allows us to reimagine the bar aisle together and challenge the idea that macros are the only things that matter,” says Sveta Doucet, chief marketing and creative officer at Stars + Honey. “Stars + Honey tastes like a treat and functions like clean nutrition.”
