Vince, a contemporary clothing line founded in 2002, today opens its first Michigan location at the Somerset Collection in Troy. The 2,700-square-foot store, located at Somerset Collection South on the first level near Nieman Marcus, offers men’s and women’s clothing, footwear, and accessories.

“Being able to attract luxury brands such as Vince to Michigan demonstrates that this market is steadfast in its dedication to the retail experience and interest in globally recognized brands,” says Nate Forbes, managing partner of Southfield-based Forbes Co., which owns and operates the Somerset Collection.

Earlier this month, the Somerset Collection South welcomed Vineyard Vines to its second level. The 4,300-square-foot location offers men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and accessories.

Somerset Collection, which dates back to 1969, celebrated its 20th year after expanding to 1.4 million square feet by connecting the north and south properties in 1996 via an enclosed skywalk that spans Big Beaver Road.

Other tenants that opened their first Michigan locations at the Somerset Collection include Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Tiffany & Co.

The Somerset Collection, located on the corner of Big Beaver Road and Coolidge, is home to more than 180 luxury stores and restaurants.
