Grandville IT Company Acquires East Lansing’s KI Technology Group

Grandville-based data center and managed service provider Trivalent Group has acquired East Lansing-based KI Technology Group, a provider of cloud and managed services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Given KI’s many high-profile clients that span multiple sectors, this acquisition is an exciting development and a major step forward for our company,” says Larry Andrus, CEO of Trivalent Group. “It will further strengthen our customer service and expand our ability to provide innovative new services for our clients.”

Andrus says the acquisition will streamline customer service for businesses that rely heavily on the cloud.

KI Technology Group, founded in 1982, offers services including cloud computing, remote access, backup solutions, network security, and computer repairs, among others. The 10-employee company has clients including the Michigan Nurses Association, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Tomie Raines Realtors, and the Michigan Works! Association, among others.

Trivalent Group, founded in 1971, has offices in Grandville, Battle Creek, Mount Pleasant, Traverse City, and East Lansing. The company offers services to businesses in Michigan and across the Midwest. With the acquisition, the company now has more than 80 employees servicing 600 clients.
