Detroit's Urban Science Acquires Automotive Digital Marketing Firm AutoHook

Detroit-based automotive analytics provider Urban Science has acquired Ann Arbor-based AutoHook, a digital marketing solutions provider focusing on driving in-market shoppers to vehicle OEMs and dealerships. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

AutoHook is a perfect strategic fit for Urban Science due to its innovative approach to increase showroom traffic.”

Anderson says Urban Science will expand its services by providing OEMs and dealers with the ability to offer real-time incentives to prospective shoppers through dealer websites, email, mobile, direct mail, and third-party websites.

AutoHook and its 17 employees will move operations from its Ann Arbor office to Urban Science’s headquarters at the Renaissance Center in Detroit. AutoHook’s digital marketing solutions, including Web2Show, Lead2Show, and Mobile2Show, will continue to be offered.

Urban Science, founded in 1977, has offices in Spain, the United  Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Australia, China, Mexico, Russia, Japan, and Brazil. The company has 850 employees.
