Cicero Hospitality Group, a hotel and hospitality owner, operator, and management company headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, has acquired three full-service Starbucks restaurants in downtown Chicago. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Randy Dickow, president and CEO of 1701 Hospitality Group, has partnered with Cicero on the acquisition, increasing their combined portfolio to six Midwest Starbucks locations.
“The alignment of our team’s dedication to providing outstanding guest experiences aligns with Starbucks’ core values,” says Martin Pakideh, principal of Cicero Hospitality Group. “We’re excited to add value to these establishments with a combination of familiarity and elevated hospitality.”
The three recently acquired Starbucks properties include Navy Pier, Block 37, and Palmer House.
Situated within the historic Palmer House by Hilton Hotels, the Starbucks at Palmer House serves guests in more than 1,600 rooms.
The second Starbucks shop at Block 37, in part, serves riders on Blue and Red “L” lines on their way to urban shopping, dining, and entertainment offerings.
The final Starbucks location at Navy Pier allows visitors to enjoy coffee against the backdrop of Lake Michigan.
The expansion also comes with the integration of the existing Starbucks staff.
The acquisition, according to company officials, reflects Cicero’s vision to provide not just accommodation, but “memorable moments for residents and travelers seeking the quintessential blend of comfort and style.”
