Livonia-based Prism Specialty Restoration of Southeast Michigan has named David De La Torre as CEO, effective immediately.
De La Torre brings decades of restoration industry experience, proven sales and business leadership, and a strong track record of driving revenue growth and building lasting customer relationships. With extensive knowledge of Prism’s business, its customers, its people, and the industries it serves, De La Torre brings the leadership and experience needed to guide the company confidently into its next chapter.
Throughout his career, De La Torre is said to have demonstrated an ability to identify opportunities, build business, strengthen customer partnerships, and produce results. His experience spans sales strategy, business development, revenue generation, customer relationships, and organizational leadership, giving him a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to successfully lead and grow the company, according to the company.
As CEO, De La Torre will lead the strategic direction of Prism Specialty Restoration of Southeast Michigan with a focus on leadership, accountability, sustainable growth, customer partnership, and operational excellence. His understanding of both the business and the restoration industry is thought to position him to build on Prism’s strengths while identifying new opportunities for the future.

De La Torre has spent more than 25 years working alongside Prism founder and owner Lee Capatina, gaining firsthand experience in the development and growth of the business while being mentored by Capatina throughout his career. Combined with De La Torre’s own proven business success, that experience has given him a unique understanding of Prism’s history, operations, customer relationships and future opportunities.
