Plante Moran Elects Eight Southeast Michigan Partners

Plante Moran, a certified public accounting, tax, and consulting firms, has announced the election of eight southeast Michigan partners. These eight partners are a part of the 25 new partners selected across several states.

GianFranco DelBene specializes in providing consulting and tax and consulting services to retail automotive dealerships, professional service firms, and other service businesses such as sales and marketing companies. He first joined Plante Moran in 2003 and is based in the firm’s Ann Arbor office.

Jean Hackstock primarily works with Plante Moran’s real estate and construction clients, with a specific focus on tax, industry regulations, and financial best practices in general contracting, heavy/highway, specialty trade, and multi-entity commercial real estate. She’s also involved in Plante Moran’s employee benefit plan group and specializes in multiple plan audits and leveraging employee stock ownership plans. She first joined Plante Moran in 2005 and is based in the firm’s Macomb office.

Bryan Hughes is a managing director of P&M Corporate Finance, the investment banking subsidiary of Plante Moran, and leads the firm’s medical technology and health care service teams. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, private placements, financing, valuations, and strategic consulting. He first joined P&M Corporate Finance in 2000 and is based in the firm’s Southfield East office.

David Kristick is an industry technical leader in the manufacturing and distribution sector of Plante Moran. He oversees pre-issuance technical reviews of all industry reports and consults with engagement teams and manufacturing clients, including private equity and public Securities and Exchange Commission registrants. He first joined Plante Moran in 2005 and is based in the firm’s Detroit office.

Ted Morgan is an industry practice builder for the firm’s private equity, automotive, and plastics industries. He specializes in building and executing practice development and client entrenchment initiatives, as well as leading projects for manufacturing and distribution clients. He first joined Plante Moran in 2011 and is based in the firm’s Southfield West office.

Emily Murphy is a leader in Plante Moran’s National Tax Office and primarily serves the firm’s service, technology, manufacturing, and financial institution clients. She also specializes in tax transaction consulting and accounting methods practices. She first joined Plante Moran in 2006 and is based in the firm’s Ann Arbor office.

Laurice Saba is the leader of the firm’s 1031 practice, where she advises clients on deferred exchanges, transactions pertaining to partnership and S corporation structures, real estate professional taxation, and debt restructuring matters. She’s also a leader in the firm’s real estate owners and developers practice, where she specializes in tax and business tax. She first joined Plante Moran as an intern in 2003 and is based in the firm’s Auburn Hills office.

Jacqueline Venier specializes in wealth management, personal wealth management, and estate planning. She provides advice to the firm’s ultra-high-net-worth clients and focuses on helping clients navigate liquidity events and develop and implement coordinated strategies for wealth transfer, charitable gifting, and ongoing financial education and management. She first joined Plante Moran in 2006 and is based in the firm’s Detroit office.
