Detroit’s Rocket Cos. has launched a platform that provides real estate agents real-time updates on the status of their clients’ mortgages.
Rocket Pro Insight, available online and via an app, allows real estate professionals to see where each loan is in the process, the terms of their clients’ loans, if additional documentation is needed, and when it will close.

To create the platform, the Rocket Mortgage team asked real estate agents what they needed to improve the homebuying experience for their clients. The No. 1 answer was insight. The solution also allows agents to adjust their clients’ approval letter within the clients’ approved range, which is helpful when negotiating offers. Agents can also upload key documents for the client.
Rocket Mortgage clients can grant their agent access to the platform at any time, or agents can request to be connected with the client’s approval.
The company also recently formed a partnership with Realtor.com. The initiative is designed to help homebuyers on Realtor.com be approved for a mortgage.
