Kalamazoo’s Greenleaf Trust Promotes One, Adds Four

Greenleaf Trust, an independent Michigan-chartered trust-only bank exclusively focused on wealth management, trust and estate administration, and administration of company-sponsored retirement plans based in Kalamazoo, announced five promotions and additions.

Julie Weston has been promoted to special asset associate on the estate settlement team. She is responsible for the management of special assets in the settling of estates. She has more ten years of experience in client service. Weston earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree from Walden University.

Joel Saukas joins the Greenleaf Trust team as a Salesforce administrator. He is responsible for providing support for the Salesforce CRM by evaluating and testing Salesforce maintenance releases, documenting application enhancements and working with the internal Salesforce administration team to understand and resolve user issues. Saukas graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in education.

Amari Smith is now a part of the Wealth Development Club as Greenleaf wealth developer. Once a month, club members meet with Greenleaf Trust investment professionals, Greenleaf Trust wealth developers, and dedicated Kalamazoo or Portage Public Schools teachers and advisors. Smith is responsible for leading the administration and day-to-day responsibilities of the Wealth Development Club. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and is pursuing her MBA.

Jocelyn Goheen joins The Family Office at Greenleaf Trust as family office coordinator. She is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, day-to-day servicing of account needs and driving the efforts of the Family Office. She will ensure clear, concise communication by coordinating the team’s workflow and acts as an ongoing resource for clients. Goheen earned her bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University and her master’s from Ferris State University.

Alyssa Kole joins Greenleaf Trust as a wealth management advisor. She specializes in the development of comprehensive wealth management plans, the execution of goal-based planning strategies and the management of client investment portfolios. All such services are specifically tailored to each client’s unique needs and delivered in a team-based environment. Alyssa earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.
