Jay Leno, the comedian and former Tonight Show host, will headline the 24th Annual Comedy Night to benefit Forgotten Harvest, a food rescue organization, in May at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.
“Comedy Night continues to be our biggest fundraising events of the year,” says Kirk Mayes, CEO of Forgotten Harvest. “We’re sure it will be an evening filled with laughs while supporting thousands of families in need right here in metro Detroit.”
Mayes says proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will benefit Forgotten Harvest’s network of more than 280 agencies in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties that provide food options to metro Detroiters in need, relieving hunger, and preventing food waste.
Tickets for the event, held May 7, are now on sale and range from $25 to $150. Tickets are available at the Fox Theatre box office, Joe Louis Arena box office, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge), Ticketmaster, by phone 800-745-3000 or online at olympiaentertainment.com. Sponsorship packages are also available; call 248-864-7527 for more information.
