IZEA Worldwide Inc. headquartered in Orlando, Fla., a provider of influencer marketing technology, data, and services for leading brands, has announced the appointment of Ryan Schram as president and COO. Schram was honored in DBusiness’ 2014 30 in Their Thirties class.

As the company enters its next phase of growth, he will continue to report to IZEA founder, chairman, and CEO Ted Murphy. Schram first joined IZEA in 2011 as chief marketing officer and was promoted to COO in 2012.

“I have had the pleasure of working closely alongside Ryan through the best and worst of times at IZEA,” says Murphy. “He has been an integral part of IZEA’s success since he joined the company, and together, we have become an unstoppable team in relentless pursuit of a shared vision. I am thrilled to champion his promotion to president and COO of IZEA as we look to further expand our operations and take advantage of our incredible momentum.”

Schram has more than two decades of leadership experience at the intersection of marketing, media, and technology. He previously served as group vice president at Merkle, where he led client teams on behalf of companies including Nestle, Johnson and Johnson, Nationwide Insurance, Wendy’s, and Universal Orlando, among others. He held roles of increasing responsibility of CBS/Westwood One and iHeart Media.

Schram received a bachelor’s degree in management from the Eli College of Business at Michigan State University and served as founding partner of the Influence and United global alliance that was developed on behalf of IZEA and its charter members around the world.
