Winning Futures, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Warren, announced Pete Hockey, global director of supply chain operations at Ford Motor Co., has been elected to the Winning Futures Board of Directors.

Winning Futures is a nationally recognized organization that helps Metro Detroit high school students figure out what they’ll do after high school, then teaches them the life and job readiness skills they will need to be successful.

“I’m honored to be a part of the Winning Futures team. The vision of using top-notch mentoring programs to positively impact our youth is something that resonates with me,” says Hockey. “I’m excited to join the program that was founded at my high school alma mater, Warren Mott when I attended in 1994.”

Hockey joined Ford in 2002. He’s held several positions of increasing responsibility within the supply chain umbrella and worked in program purchasing, powertrain, electrical, body and exterior, interior, and operations.

“Pete is a great asset to our team,” says Kristina Marshall, president and CEO at Winning Futures. “Through his network in the automotive industry, he helped us raise $450,000 this year at our Corks & Forks gala. Plus, his dedication and history with the school district will drive Pete to do remarkable things for our students.”
