Foley & Lardner Adds New Partners to Detroit Office

Norman Ankers, Jennifer Zbytowski Belveal, and Jason Conti have joined the litigation department of the Detroit office of Foley & Lardner LLP, a Wisconsin-based corporate law firm.

Before joining Foley, Ankers, Belveal, and Conti worked at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP.

Ankers, of Beverly Hills, has more than 30 years of experience before juries, judges, and arbitrators nationally, and was the department chair of Honigman’s litigation group for 14 years before joining Foley. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from University of Michigan and a juris doctor from Harvard University.

Belveal (right), of Canton, has more than 20 years of experience in civil and criminal/regulatory areas. She focuses on contracts, commercial torts, real estate, and fraud and ownership disputes in the civil area; and advising companies and individuals regarding financial transactions, securities, environmental laws, and health care in the criminal and regulatory area. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and a juris doctor from University of Michigan.

Conti (left), of Huntington Woods, has 20 years of experience handling commercial and partnership disputes, property tax appeal litigation, real estate litigation, and intellectual property. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from University of Michigan and a juris doctor from Vanderbilt University,
