Don Ferguson, co-founder of Michigan’s Anteel Tequila, has become a partner and business development director for Detroit’s BDOPE, which stands for daring, original, purpose, and esoteric, bottled water brand.
BDOPE was founded in 2019 by Jackie Wallace, a Michigan business owner, songwriter, published author, and mental health awareness advocate, and is now being relaunched. Wallace says she believed he could grow the brand the way he did with Anteel.
“BDOPE is more than a bottled water company, it’s a movement and one that I want to be part of,” says Ferguson.
The brand, which is early in its phase of a statewide launch, already has received national attention by a few Olympic athletes that support mental health awareness initiatives, a topic BDOPE owners say is near and dear to them.
