DETROIT — Dickinson Wright PLLC have entered in a cooperation agreement with Velchev & Co. a Sofia, Bulgaria-based law firm headed by Pavel Velchev, to provide comprehensive legal services to their respective business and gaming clients.
The agreement follows similar arrangements the firm has with WH Partners in Malta, Varela & Fonseca Abogados in Lima, Peru and MdME in Macau, to extend gaming and business law worldwide.
Dickinson Wright covers commercial and Indian gaming industries, advising on acquisition, development, financing, licensing, and operation of casinos and gaming facilities. Nadya Hamback heads the gaming practice at Velchev & Co. focusing on consulting new technology business, such as legalized Internet gambling in compliance with European standards.
