Detroit-based Ilitch Holdings Inc. has announced the promotion of Jamie Langdon to vice president of corporate communications. She previously served as director of communications.

Langdon, a metro Detroit native who attended Michigan State University before getting her degree in journalism from Emerson College in Boston, will now direct media relations, creative content creation, and internal communication for the Ilitch companies. Additionally, she will serve as professional counsel to leadership for all companies in the area of corporate communication and community relations activities.
