Dan Kidle Promoted to Managing Partner at Arboretum Ventures

Arboretum Ventures, a leading health care venture capital firm based in Ann Arbor, announced Dan Kidle has been promoted to managing partner.

Kidle joined the firm in 2011 as an analyst and was promoted multiple times before he was made partner in 2020. He focuses his investments on transformative technologies across Arboretum’s sectors of interest with particular emphasis on diagnostics and life science research tools.

“Dan is very deserving of this promotion to Managing Partner and has played a central role in our firm’s continued success,” says Tom Shehab, managing partner. “He will continue to provide vital leadership within the firm and in the management of our current and future funds.”

Kidle’s investment portfolio and board involvement includes Flosonics Medical, Jumpcode Genomics, and Dropworks. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from the Ross Busines School at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
