Compass Commercial Founder Nominated for 'Tough Cookie' Award

TROY — Lynn Drake, president and founder of Compass Commercial / ITRA Global has been nominated for Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan’s “One Tough Cookie” recognition.

The award honors the contributions women make in the community for leadership and community service and for inspiring the next generation of female leaders.

In addition to her work at Compass Commercial, Drake, of Troy, has volunteered for several years with Winning Futures where she mentors teenagers. For the last four years she has been a part of the Power of 100 Women for the Michigan Women’s Foundation.  She also volunteers for Girl Scouts at Camp Moxie, helping girls work on their Gold Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout can achieve.

Drake, formerly a Girl Scout, has worked for 20 years in commercial real estate and  has experience in corporate and institutional workplace design, planning, and project implementation. She has a Bachelor of Science in business with a concentration in accounting from Oakland University.
