
Butzel attorney Beth S. Gotthelf has been elected to the board of directors for NAATBatt International, the Trade Association for Advanced Battery Technology in North America.
Gotthelf is an at-large board member. The election took place on Feb. 10 during the NAATBatt 2026 Annual Conference in Tucson, Ariz.
She is Butzel’s co-chair of the Environment, Energy, and Sustainability Practice, chair of the Aerospace and Defense Industry Team, and director of Innovation and External Relations.
Gotthelf has been active in NAATBatt for a number of years and participates in several committees including Second Life, Recycling, Military, Track and Trace, and Off Shoring.
She represents a diverse client base including those in the automotive, defense, and aerospace fields. She has extensive environmental, renewable energy, and sustainability experience. She assists clients with remediation, redevelopment, permitting, and compliance.
Gotthelf serves as chair of the Michigan Manufacturers Association’s Environmental Policy Committee; general counsel to the Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Surface Finishers; board member and former chair, Michigan Israel Business Accelerator; and Michigan Advisory Board, Women in Defense. Gotthelf also is board directorship certified through the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
