FERNDALE — Allied Printing Co., which has helped its clients push the envelope on traditional print for more than 60 years, is now rethinking its own future with a vision that’s boldly reflected in the company’s new website and matching URL. The launch of AlliedRethink.com is the first phase in a strategic growth initiative focused on amplifying the company’s leadership in today’s technological marketplace.

Ferndale-based Allied has long been attuned to the ever-changing needs of its customers, and today the company does more than just put ink to paper. Allied has been at the forefront of the industry as a progressive full service firm, offering solutions that go beyond traditional print, to clients across the country and around the globe.

Reflecting Allied’s long-time immersion in Detroit’s creative community, AlliedRethink.com showcases the imagery of eight local photographers who have focused their lenses on Detroit’s people and its creative urban landscape. AlliedRethink.com reflects the company’s Detroit-centric attitude, illustrating its commitment to time-honored craftsmanship and a solid work ethic, rooted in Midwestern values, that brings new life to an age-old process.

A new logo and “Rethink Ink” tagline are other key elements of the company’s new strategic plan and are prominently featured on the website. The logo’s stylized “A” reflects Allied’s technical advancement and focus on the future, while the printer’s registration mark displayed in the letter’s center serves as a nod to the company’s longevity and commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

To coincide with the launch of its new website, Allied has announced its “Rethink Ink Sweepstakes,” giving anyone who “likes” their Facebook page a chance to win a prize featuring tickets and gift certificates to four of Detroit’s most treasured entertainment attractions highlighted on its new website.

To be eligible, all people need to do is like Allied’s Facebook page at facebook.com/AlliedPrintingCompany from now until 11:59 p.m. Nov. 30 and provide their full name and email through contest app, Easy Promos. One grand prize winner will be selected at random on Dec. 2.
