Foxx Health was founded by Maria Haugen in Sterling Heights in 2024 with the idea that women are underrepresented and have a lack of advocacy in health care.

Foxx Health equips users with checklists for doctor visits, questions to ask, and information on patient rights, empowering them to be proactive and informed participants in their appointments.
It will offer personalized features such as health and symptom trackers to increase accuracy during appointments, reminders, and content that aligns with each user’s specific health needs, enhancing personal relevance and effectiveness.
The app also is designed to use AI to provide personalized and swift access to health information, tools, and support, saving time and energy looking for trusted sources online.
“We’re here to help our members advocate for their health like never before, reducing misdiagnoses and experience faster treatment, ensuring they feel heard every step of the way,” Haugen says.
