Registration is open for the 2025 Michigan Cyber Summit and High School Cyber Summit set to take place on Oct. 22-23 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
Staged by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), the 14th annual Michigan Cyber Summit brings together experts from across the country to discuss the latest cybersecurity trends impacting education, business, IT, economic development, law enforcement, and personal safety.
The event is open to the public and will feature information for business professionals, educators, law enforcement, and government officials. The agenda includes internationally recognized keynote speakers and panelists, as well as experts from across the country, to lead breakout sessions on a variety of industry topics.
Tickets for the Oct. 23 Michigan Cyber Summit can be purchased at the summit’s official website. The cost is $95 for attendees, $80 for government employees and members of the military, and $50 for college students and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and light snacks throughout the day. The agenda will be updated on the summit website as speakers, sponsors, and breakout sessions are confirmed.
On Oct. 22, DTMB will host the third High School Cyber Summit at the Suburban Collection Showplace. The event will bring together hundreds of high school students from across the state to take part in a half-day agenda created to educate them on cybersecurity trends and best practices. The High School Cyber Summit also will showcase a variety of career opportunities available in cybersecurity and outline the path to land those jobs.
New this year, schools will have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to assist with event registration and transportation costs. These funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Schools can request more information on scholarship opportunities by visiting the registration page.
To register for the Michigan High School Cyber Summit and apply for a scholarship, visit the event website. The registration price is $35 per person and includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day. The agenda for the High School Cyber Summit will be updated as speakers and sponsors are confirmed.
