Vonnie’s World in Wayne is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit respite center and life enrichment activity play place for children with special needs and disabilities. The organization accepts all children. The group seeks to be a place that offers extra respite support for families in a safe therapeutic environment with hands-on individualized recreational play and fun activities. All play “is not the same” because children retain various information from their play and Vonnie’s World provides them an unrestricted opportunity to add life enrichment play and exploration to their lives while giving their caregivers the opportunity to take a short break from their daily duties.
