Racquet Up Detroit — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Detroit youth with a program involving mentoring, academics, community service, and the sport of squash — hosted a grand opening gala on Saturday, May 21 for its new facility at 65630 W. Outer Dr. The facility includes a dedicated space to support college and career pathways, eight squash courts, and six education spaces. The event raised money to support the organization’s objectives.
