The Plymouth-Canton Community Literacy Council (CLC) was founded in 1985 in Plymouth Township to provide free English literacy tutoring to adults whose English literacy skills are at or below a 9th-grade reading level. CLC provides free one-on-one tutors and conversation groups for adults who speak English as a second language in western Wayne County.
