Military Families United is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Wixom that seeks to honor the fallen, support those who fight, and serve their families. Founded in 2005 to provide an avenue for military families to remind the nation of the importance of supporting the military, it has since expanded to provide charitable programs that offer families direct support. The organization offers veterans and their families a portfolio of advocacy programs; events that include 5K races, golf outings, and memorial rededications; and an extensive online list of resources ranging from childcare services to physical and emotional support to branch specific support resources.
