The Michigan Health Endowment Fund, which has offices in Lansing and Brighton, seeks to improve health and wellness across the state while simultaneously decreasing costs. The fund typically supports organizations working on issues related to behavioral health, healthy aging, healthy nutrition, and lifestyles and community healthy. In 2020, the fund’s donations included the Family Medical Center of Michigan to support school-based health care, Arbor Circle for its Keep Early Education Positive program, the Valley Area Agency on Aging for its telehealth aging project, and the Michigan Public Health Institute for its Just Care program. The fund is managed by a board of directors that includes prominent government, health, nonprofit, and policy leaders in Michigan.
