Michigan Community Resources in Detroit was founded in 1998 to advance the missions of Michigan nonprofit organizations that serve low-income individuals and communities through pro bono and low cost legal and other professional services, organizational development, and trusted guidance. Using a lens of racial and social equity, MCR seeks to build power within the nonprofit sector by shifting norms, practices, and attitudes, leading to systems transformation.
