Michigan Clinicians for Climate Action was founded in 2020 in Detroit to educate and advocate for legislation with a vision of “creating a climate in which the health and well-being of all people can thrive.” MiCCA educates the public and health professionals across the state, including those in training, about the health impacts of the climate, as well as the potential health co-benefits of transitioning to a low-carbon economy.
