KidsRead2Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016 in Bingham Farms by dyslexic and ADHD siblings to bring joy and confidence back to the struggling learner. Its goal is to show all children — regardless of their background — that they are not alone, and that their futures hold endless possibilities. The organization’s original literary and educational resources are utilized in homes, schools, and libraries in more than 60 countries. KidsRead2Kids provides video-audiobooks of abridged classic novels, read chapter by chapter so children can listen and learn at their own pace. Along the way, listeners can learn new vocabulary words, boost their analytical thinking, improve their writing skills, and increase their working memory. The books are read by high school volunteers of varying backgrounds who serve as role models and sources of inspiration.
